ThePolitibase is an independent, nonpartisan congressional transparency project that tracks every member of the U.S. Congress, every active bill, every recorded vote, and every campaign finance filing in one place.
We exist because tracking your government shouldn’t require a subscription, a journalism degree, or eight separate tabs. The official sources — Congress.gov, the Federal Election Commission, senate.gov, and clerk.house.gov — publish exhaustive data, but they aren’t designed for everyday people. We bridge that gap.
What we track
- All 535 voting members of Congress (plus 6 non-voting delegates)
- Every bill introduced in the current Congress
- Every roll-call vote in the House and Senate
- Every committee action and amendment
- FEC campaign finance data for the current cycle
- Daily and weekly summaries of what Congress did
What we don’t do
- We don’t editorialize. The data is the data.
- We don’t sell your information. We don’t have user accounts.
- We don’t take political contributions or partisan advertising.
