Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks (R-IA) introduced this bill requiring electronic communication service providers and remote computing service providers to report to the Drug Enforcement Administration when they become aware of offenses involving creation, manufacture, distribution, or dispensing of counterfeit controlled substances, counterfeit prescription drugs, fentanyl, methamphetamine, or prescription pain medications and stimulants. Providers that fail to comply face criminal and civil penalties. The bill includes a severability clause allowing provisions to stand independently if others are struck down.
